garden updates

"Improved" Meyer Lemon
My little one point the green fruit and told me "Mommy, there is a baby lemon in the tree" Just moved it to outside, and but some leaves are falling out. Hopefully it will adjust the outside condition soon.

New addition to the garden-White Michelia-all the leaves fall out after moved to outside. Now it seems to have new shoot leaves come out.
The green plant is pumpkin from last year decoration. In the winter, the pumpkin rotten and the seeds were in the soil. Now it grows everywhere.

Got rose from Menard-2.00 after rebates, This is first one to be open. Other 5 plants also have flower buds. I have 6 different colors of roses to enjoy for this summer.

Just set up this circular thing for the windmill and plant a tree-which is not decided to be which kind of tree yet-I will fill the space with strawberry in the windmill circle, some flower bulbs in the tree circle. Still need more work.

Vancouver-2010

Joes Fortes Seafood-chop house

First day night dinner

Park near to China town

The Bridge to the Granvill island

Picture was taken from the bride we walk on-it is high above.
It was very windy, cold and rain when we walked that day

From the high above bridge look to the buildings,
there are a lot trees and flowers planting in everywhere of the buildings-top, and deck.
Very green!!
Entrance to the Garnvill island

This is taking for my daughter to see!-Mermad!!

The bakeries are very good in the island-several shop.
We just eat the cake and bread as our lunch. Also there is tea shop which is very good
and pricy.

Funny goggles for chopping the onion

Too cute of pepper and salt shaker.
I brought the zebra one-my daughter favor animal- home

Dessert time!

It was very cold-around 50F-and rainny. But we still walk around the city.
I feel it is a very clean and pretty city- a lot of trees and flowers. The buildings seem to be maintain very well. You can see a lot chinese words around-Like you are in the hometown.
The only bad is the food at the store are pretty expensive-a ice cream cone can cost you 2-3 dollors at 7-11 store. A can of coke cost about 2 dollars. It seems all the import goods are pricy.

收穫-EarlyHarvest

Pakchoy, Mustard (清江菜,芥菜)

Napa-Cabage(大白菜)
Fava bean(蠶豆)
上星期開始收了一堆蘿蔔葉後,又灑了一些種子:清江菜,芥菜因種子灑太多長的蜜就只好先拔比較大的來吃。
在HOOP HOUSE 內的蠶豆竟然開花,還蠻漂亮的。
Last week I have begun to harvest the vegetables-First I took of the tunip leaves and put some Pakchoy seeds in. Then also the pakchoy and mustard are ready to harvest-but I put too many seeds early so they grows very dense. I just pull the big ones out then do a little and little thin out. So far I have a lot vegetables to eat since I am the only will eat in the family-WOW! Very enjoy now!!
