8/11-今天老大老二因無聊就拿出我買的書-polymer clay cookbook來玩,就做出了一個漢堡杯子蛋糕和香蕉. 上面圖是老二做,下面圖是老大。還蠻像的，可以拿來送人了。另一個西式早餐-蛋培根-戒指因我忘了買膠沒辦法黏起來。

Clay craft made by girls
8/12-這兩天老大老二猛玩黏土，又做了一堆吃的-壽司，棒棒糖，TACO,Pizza和早餐盤. 還自己用烤箱烤硬, 等有空還要去幫他們補貨-小工具做甜筒皮上刻痕和膠還有做手鍊和項鍊的配件

8/10/2010 收穫
這幾天氣溫都高到快華氏一百度, 即使晚上有雷雨但一出屋外整個空氣是熱的。昨天摘了兩個蒲瓜送人今天又摘了三個還好幾個南瓜。那個像木瓜的南瓜口感細嫩蠻不錯，但另一種日式南瓜-像圓餅型-還沒嘗過 ,不過在這東方店到常見。
8/11-今天從外面回來決定去看看種玉米筍如何，竟收六隻如下-我只種約六棵玉米。只等
456給我的玉米開花看那個南美玉米-不過只灑約三種十棵玉米但只六棵存活，期待收穫了

Monday harveat-7/12/10
Today is my first time to get the gourd(花蒲) to harvest. Also some tomatos, yard bean as well cumcubles. Now I can have a nice meal with the vegetables.

FIRE PIT TRY OUT DAY-7/6/10
肉圓
去年456幫我從台灣帶肉圓碟. 就一直沒動工, 上星期決定來試,參照妃娟和 youtube上彰化肉圓-賴銘愷摩一個肉圓皮食譜
A. 100g 在來米粉 加 250g 煮成糊狀
B 100g 蓮藕粉加 200g 地瓜粉和 300g 水攪勻
將 B 攪入已成糊狀 A 中, 放冷-原本較水狀因冷會更黏稠-這是剛好要的程度見圖III
餡-見圖II
肉切絲加五香粉,酒鹽醬油等醃好, 香菇也用少許五香粉, 醬油水泡軟切絲. 然後用紅蔥頭爆香加入肉絲香菇和筍丁炒熟即可
肉圓醬
海鮮醬,蕃茄醬.糖.在來米粉加水煮
I.成品
II 肉圓餡
III粉漿
IV未煮前肉圓

backyard-Finally finished
這星期都沒下雨, 終於做完後院，真是累死我老公了!

在夏夜中可以生火烤肉或烤地瓜, 還可"圍爐"ㄜ!
旁邊的小水池,流水聲還可平緩心情,只是還要種些樹遮陰及美化環境.

明尼蘇達州遊記-木刻,野生園
這週一二因 老公家要家庭聚會，所以大家約在明州一家賭城相聚，順便做了一些參觀

老公的叔叔是個雕刻家,專用電鋸雕刻,特地表演給我們看他如何刻木頭.

右邊是鹿寶寶的家人, 左邊是鹿寶寶喝寶奶就跑回家人那.
這三隻臭鼬可當寵物養毛很舒服，因沒有臭腺所以無法噴臭氣，但時時有那噴的動作.因明州規定只有有執照着才可觸碰臭鼬-怕狂犬病，所以只可遠觀不可獬玩.

是啦! 美國老鷹!
這是在比賽時要比誰可在最短時間內刻出的椅子, 世界紀錄是十秒,老公叔叔年輕時是十七秒. 小孩們都是著坐一下好玩.
明州一家私人野生園-
據說這裡是很多從世界各地的攝影家來拍動物照, 這裡的狼狐狸等動物從出生就跟人在一起，所以非常溫馴而且不怕人，你可以看到我們把牠們當娃娃在玩，中間大家還跟"狼群"合唱-蠻好玩.

Windmill Retain Wall
Jun 23 Windmill updates:
When we came home from outside and the tree was planted. Now I only need to plant some more flowers around the three and windmill, then this project would be finished
Finally it is a sunnday. In the early morning my husband brought the oldest one to swim practice at 5:45am then he went to work. After the practice end, he picked her back and came home to work on the reatain wall in the front. The girls all went out to help. But the girls' piano teacher has changed their lessone from this afternoon to morning so the girls just did whatever they could help out. Before noon the half circule of the retain wall was finished. I am thinking to put the tree in with some hosta around the base, but one request is the flowers of tree need to be "purple" color. The windmill, which my father-in-law made, will be in anther half circule. Then I will plant some turlips around in the fall. Look it I think I need to get a dutch boy and a girl then pain them to black and yellow(not blue and white) to match the school color. But my father-in-law thinks I should get a chinese boy and a girl as well.
The left side was working in process, then found the windmill would be too low. The blade will hit the wall if it turns to right. So after whole circule finished, the millwind was moved to left a little and raised a little high. It will look more nice after the tree and flower bulb plant.

After the Rain
This morning a sudden heavy rain came down. We were so surprised to see a huge river was formed in our backyard and lead to my neighbor's backyard, then a lake was there. It was so big and we haven't seen ut before since we moved in last August. But it was disappearred quickly-when we went home after swimming practice-around 7:00pm- the lake was not there any more. I talked to my another friend,who has lived nearby-when I met her in the pool. She told me it used to be a pond, but later the city decided to fill it up and became a green space. Today the rain was too heavy, so the lake was formed.
I think I should put a bridge to it after the patio finished for decoration and labe it-Here will be a river!!
The left sideof the picture is another side of the lake(took it when I stand in the right side of my neighbor house), and the ride side of picture is from my sunroom. You can see the lake is really big.
In this morning I harvest at least 8-10 of Napa cabbage, I gave away rest of them to friends. only left these 4 napa cabbage. Still 3-4 in the garden, Need to harvest soon otherwise they will become bug's food. I also got 2 big cabbage and some other vegetables. Everyday I need to pick the pea pod-there is about one rice bowl full every time I pick.
